Maritime in Head Office move

Maritime Transport has moved into a new Head Office at Felixstowe, occupying one of the few freehold sites in the area.

Located at Haven Exchange, at the entrance to the Port of Felixstowe, the two-storey, 6,000 square foot building is in one of the most prominent positions in Felixstowe.

The move brings together all of the Company’s central support functions: accounts, commercial, fleet, I.T. and personnel as well as the senior management team, for the first time since the business was acquired from Hutchison Ports three and a half years ago.

According to Managing Director, John Williams, “This is an important milestone for Maritime Transport and a great achievement for the Company. Having the team under one roof will enable us to remain efficient and responsive to our customers as the business expands”.

Thirty people are now based at the new Head Office.
