How do I apply?

To apply for a current vacancy, simply click the ‘Apply’ button at the bottom of the details and complete the application form in full.


What format should I send my CV?

We require your CV as a Microsoft Word document, otherwise we will not be able to accept.


How do I upload my CV?

Use the browse button to access your CV from your hard drive. Please make sure that the CV is a Microsoft Word document, otherwise we will not be able to accept.


Do you accept paper applications?

We try to encourage applicants to submit on-line. However, we appreciate that not everyone has access to the Internet. If you are unable to send us your application on-line for whatever reason, then please post your application to The Personnel Administrator, Maritime Transport Ltd., Maritime House, Haven Exchange, Felixstowe, Suffolk IP11 2QE. Please note, we will only contact you if you are required for interview.


How do I know you have received my application form?

If you complete your application on-line, then we will email you to confirm that we have received your application form. If you have not received a confirmation email or if you have made a paper application, then contact the Personnel Administrator on 01394 613100 to confirm receipt.


Can I apply if there are no suitable current vacancies?

If there are no suitable vacancies, you can still register your interest with us. Please note, we will only contact you if you are required for interview.

We have operations across the UK and depending on the requirements of the business, we recruit in all these areas. Search our Network on the Home Page for more details on our locations.


How much will I earn?

Every vacancy is different, so it is not possible to provide a single answer. Our rewards and benefits packages are at the top end of the transport industry in the UK. Every employee is entitled to life assurance on joining, 20 days holiday per annum plus an additional 8 Bank Holidays and eligibility to the Company’s pension scheme after 12 months.
